Apostle Tweedy Thomas

Tweedy Jeanette Thomas, pastor and founder of God Is Ministries, accepted Christ as her personal savior in October of 1959, at the tender age of five.  She has served in the ministry as a licensed and ordained elder for over 35 years.

Pastor Thomas formed God Is Ministries in 1985, after shattering strongholds of rape and molestation. On February 1st, 2004, Evangelist Thomas was ordained as Pastor of the God Is Ministries Church. In March of 2004, Pastor Thomas established the Healing Hands Food Pantry to assist the homeless and single parent families with food and clothing.

Pastor Thomas' ministry is highly diversified in that she is a devoted wife to Co-Pastor Fred Thomas, mother of three, Apostle, evangelist, teacher, singer, prophetess and pastor. Pastor Tweedy also serves as one of the Spiritual Advisors for the Black Academy of Arts & Letters Inc. in Dallas, Tx. and oversees the Kingdom Connection Fellowship of Churches Desoto TX. As an international evangelist Pastor Thomas’ evangelistic efforts have blessed her to spread the gospel in Eldora Park and surrounding areas of South Africa, Canada and to the American Indians of White River Arizona.

Pastor Thomas' goal is to pursue excellence while developing disciples through teaching, training, equipping and releasing ministries to perfect the kingdom of God.
